Haiti in Crisis

By now, we all know that a devastating earthquake hit Haiti in mid-January. Pictures are flooding the news, web, etc. Millions of meals and many people are being sent in to aid the rescue efforts for people, but what about the animals?

The Animal Relief Coalition for Haiti (ARCH) has been formed among several of the best-known animal rescue groups. They entered Haiti this weekend to assess the situation and develop a plan of action. To stay up-to-date with the plan and progress, check the Best Friends Rapid Response site regularly.

Stella Needs A Home for the Holidays...

Stella is a sweet dog. She's a mix breed with probably some terrier in her. She's 3 years old and weighs around 30 lbs. She's all white with two blacks spots on her and black speckled ears. She's been spayed and microchipped. She's very energetic but at the same time she's a ...very good house dog (she's housebroken of course.) She would do well with someone who has a yard where she can run or someone that enjoys walking a dog. She knows some commands and obeys them a good majority of the time. She has not been tested around cats or kids, but seems like she would be ok. Please contact me at pamperedpetcare@gmail.com for more info.
